A written statement from the Yeniden Refah Party said that a large number of NGOs and party members will support the rally in Sakarya City Square on February 9 at 14.00 in support of Palestine and Kudüs and in response to the so-called "solution of the century" peace plan announced by US President Donald Trump.
US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu sought to legitimise the occupation of Kudüs under the so-called "deal of the Century" Plan, the statement said.
"Masjid Al-Aqsa and Kudüs , the first Qiblah of Muslims, are sacred and never indispensable places for the Islamic world of 1.5 billion. We consider this decision about Kudüs, the legacy of Hadrat Umar, Saladin and Sultan Abdulhamid Khan, as a provocation against the whole Islamic world.
We reject this decision, we see it as absent. Kudüs is not derelict. We invite all our people to the rally by saying' This is the day'."The statement said.
